The same was true with me - at age 18 I knew very little about the labor market in Poland, so smoothly assimilated the best college advertising slurry in PL. I got up, I was przeszczęśliwa and full of self-confidence ... After a three-month vacation, in October 2007 I set off to conquer the Warsaw, which very quickly verified my idea of \u200b\u200bthe "true" (not provincial) reality. Reference Matura went into oblivion, and I was trying to get used to their first jobs and new studies.
After the first academic year was a bit confused, not to say disappointed studies. Asked myself: what I really want to do in life? *
a) I could even resign from college and start something new - I had a lot of ideas, a "gap year" after doing a lot of people.
b) I could also stay in college and find in them their "plot" and the career paths, to which I sought.
c) I could also enter into option a) and b) that is to remain in college and start a second direction.
chose option b), which later transformed into a variant c). In retrospect, I know that I had enough nerve to interrupt his studies (the main argument: parents). I read, I asked, looking for and in my second year I decided to follow toward the guardianship court. I knew that this path will not be easy, because the information obtained was simple relationship: professional I can be a probation officer after obtaining the degree, and because the plan for the trustees is not enough, a much better chance to those who were previously social curators; -> to be curator of the society I have to meet the guidelines of the Law " to act as guardian of social may be appointed who: (...) ... have at least secondary education and experience in the conduct of correctional education, care or educational (...)"; -> ; to gain experience ... etc. etc.
decided to start over and focus on gaining experience. At the end of the second year, I began to understand the practices, internships and wolontariatach. I had several approaches to various organizations and foundations, part of the course failed. It was not easy, because I had to work simultaneously ... a volunteer working and studying is hardly a welcome mix of (mainly is no longer available.) I believed, however, that the ground is good intentions and to facilitate the organization of time and provide the motivation, I set up a blog. It's time for the first (second, third, fourth) practice ... Finally after more than a year, I landed on training and volunteering at the Foundation have already described. Thanks to those who I met, my "career" is finally crystallized - met with the curators, I submitted the documents ... a few hours ago I was informed that I was set up to act as guardian of society. Swearing-in will be held next week:) I know this is only the beginning of (another) long road. I am mentally prepared for the stress, ignorance, arrogance, extreme situations, and even violence. I also know that the first dozory verify everything, and perhaps turn back to me with the chosen path. But I try to think positively. And after all - I believe it will succeed!
